Proper Education When It Comes to ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that affects millions of children and often continues into adulthood. Proper diagnosis, education, and treatment can help your child lead a happy and healthy life.

The staff of Quince Orchard Pediatrics is happy to sit down with you and your child to discuss any questions you may have regarding ADHD.

There are three types of ADHD:

  • Inattentive Type: A person is easily sidetracked, forgetful, has trouble with details, organizational and listening skills and may avoid tasks that require too much thinking
  • Hyperactive-Impulsive Type: A person who has trouble sitting still, has low self-control and often interrupts others
  • Combined Type: When a person experiences both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms
